Description:	The Orienteering Association of Nova Scotia supports Colchester County's Active Transportatin Campaign!! Hop on your Bike or use your feet to explore or race---pound through the trails and open woods or come for a relaxing hike as a recreational participant! There is something fun for everyone! Experience the sport of orienteering where participants receive a very detailed map and attempt to find checkpoints as shown on the map. Easy courses do not require compass knowledge. The event site is 20 meters past Tim Horton's if coming from the Trans-Canada and is on the left (beside the outdoor auction area of the Industrial Park) Event fees are: Family -15.00 Adult member 10.00 non-member 15.00 Junior member 5.00 non-member 10.00 Service groups/scouts/cubs/cadets etc. 5.00 each. Yearly memberships can be purchased at the event site if desired. OANS membership fees are: Senior (21 and over) $25, Junior (20 and under) $15 This helps keep our organization strong in Nova Scotia and provides members with a discount at regular events as well as puts participants in age category points system for the best orienterer in Nova Scotia!
