Description:Categories: Point - to - point on a choice of three courses, where participants will run their course forwards then, after a rest, go in a reverse direction for a total time. All for the same price!!! Can you beat your time going in reverse?

Summary: Hilly terrain with numerous buildings but mostly open grass lawn and gravel or paved trails.

The following are the fees for Nova Scotia Orienteering Series (NSOS) Events in 2013.
Standard OANS Fees:
Youth $5; Adult $10; Family/Wayfarer $15; organized Groups $5 / participant
Race Day:
Youth $10; Adult $15; Family/Wayfarer $20 Organized Groups $8 / participant

To Pre-reigister: e-mail Jim (jlblanc@eastlink.ca) by 9 pm 20th June, 2013. Please include your name, gender, age, and course 1, 2 or 3. Following the above date and time Race Day fees apply.

Directions: From Metropolitan Halifax and points East or West: take Hwy # 101 to Greenwich exchange, Exit 11. Follow North to intersection of Hwy 1 and exit road by Blomindon Nursery. Turn right at stop lights then proceed East to Wolfville and Acadia University. Turn up University Ave.(across from Gym parking entrance) and go up the hill for approximately 400 m then turn left just past Cutten House and before the Physical Plant on to a dirt road and drive 100 m toward the Tower. There is a small parking lot on your left or the North side of the road by tennis courts.

Here at the assembly area you will be able to confirm pre-registration, do late registration, make payment and receive your map. If requested you may receive beginner instruction. Start area will be close by this parking area.
