Training event/Social kick off (Irishman's)

Beginner Clinic
Jim Blanchard will be the instructor for the Beginner Clinic. Please register online at the link below, onsite registration will be at 10:30am the clinic will last about 90 mins. There will be an opportunity to do an untimed beginners course.
Intermediate/Advance Training
The training will consist of a morning and an afternoon session. You will need to bring a lunch.
Onsite registration will be at 10:30am with the first exercise starting at 11am.
The morning session will consist of 2 partner exercises, a relocation exercise and a map simplification exercise.
The afternoon session will be individual exercises so will have a bit more flexibility, you can start when you want and do as much as you would like. If you have other time commitments you cut exercises short or leave them out all together.

You must have a 2024 Orienteering Canada waiver and membership form on file to participate in this event. This process is completed once each year through our registration system. Membership is free, and the process can be completed at the link below OR as part of your event registration process.

**If you reside outside of NS, you need to be registered with a home club. Follow the same link and choose Visitor (Event) Membership.
On-site Check-in:
On-site check-in will take place from 10:30. Please register by 10:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2024 at the link above. Limited same-day registration will be based on map availability, but completion of the membership/waiver process is necessary before participating in an event.

Adults 10$
Juniors $5
Beginner Clinic $5 per person.
Directions:
Near Windsor NS take exit 5 off the 101, head east on the 14 to Irishmans road (dirt) and turn right, after approximately 700m turn left into the the Irishmans recreational site.
